gone with the wolves
Another project exploring the lost wilderness of Scotland, around the fundamental idea that when the last wolf was killed, we also lost the last piece of wildness in the country. Similar to ‘wilderness; more or less’, but visually very different. Maybe they’ll come together in time.
Images found in remnants of rare and old-growth native woodlands, from the Caledonia pinewoods to the Atlantic oakwoods, and the empty hills in between.
